Danish Broadcasting Corporation has revealed that the successful 007 First Light cost $200 million to create, which makes it the most expensive video game ever produced in Denmark. The Danish Broadcasting Corporation also said that the action-packed title from IO Interactive took seven years to make. 007 First Light has gotten off to a good start selling 1.5 million copies in its first 24 hours. The Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game is set to be released later this summer.
The game has been seven years in the making and has cost a staggering 1.3 billion kroner to develop.

They should charge 1 person (not me please) $200M for it and then everyone else can pay like $10
Game is the very definition of mid
Let me guess women bad right?
Hopefully this establishes a good benchmark for them going forward and they can build on this game’s design and create bigger and better projects with it.
If they are smart, that is their longterm plan. Because clearly they put a lot of effort into this. You don’t want it to all be for one project and the. that’s it!
I pre-ordered this game, and it’s absolutely amazing. The cinematic story, graphics, and gameplay are all top-notch. It definitely keeps you on the edge of your seat and reminds me a lot of the Uncharted series. I’d give it a solid 9/10. Highly recommended!
Yeah it probably is not making the money back and then marketing costs those reveals aren’t cheap.
I haven’t played this game bur I hope it gives me good 007 memory vibes. The Indiana Jones game was very cool. While im still waiting on the freaking release date for fire emblem this is definitely on my Switch radar.
I will never, I repeat, I WILL NEVER find a justification viable for spending too much on a VIDEO GAME… If this fails, then the produce just wasn’t resourceful and/or smart with their capital.
what are you on about? it sold 1.5 mil in the first 24h. you think games these sizes make themself?
