Many of you were surprised not to see a Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch 2 logo for Castlevania Belmont’s Curse as the title had been announced for the original Nintendo Switch. The reason why it wasn’t shown in the trailer announcing the release date is because it will be arriving at a later date than other platforms, though it’s still on for 2026. We can assume that it will also come to the Nintendo Switch 2, though that has not been disclosed as of yet.
The release of the Nintendo Switch version is scheduled for 2026, but the release date and pre-orders will be announced at a later time.
Thanks to Neptune57 for the news tip

Probably in the direct this week
I want to be excited for a new Castlevania, but I am unfortunately doubtful… The trailer showed of damage numbers and that attacks can “Miss”.
That seems like terrible design elements for an intense action platformer game, to me, although I hope I am wrong.
Thank you for the mention.
However this is still disappointing and frankly somewhat unacceptable from the developers. Castlevania is a franchise often associated with Nintendo platforms (with some PS installments). Essentially it is one of the non-Nintendo IPs that you think of when it comes to Nintendo platforms.
And this is a Metroidvania as well and those games tend to sell really well on Nintendo Switch. Delaying it for later will just hurt sales of the initial release.
