Can’t wait to play the third chapter of MGS4 in the city center at night.
Playing night Prague on handheld while sitting in night Prague.
Nice
This might be a mistake, but why is Peace Walker only 720p in docked mode when MGS4 is 1080p in docked mode and is a more demanding game, while Peace Walker is less demanding and was originally on PSP?
Same reason MGS2 and MGS3 are only in 720p on Switch. They are based on the HD Collection from 2011 which was in 720p. After some complaining from fans, Konami released an update that allowed you to play MGS2 and MGS3 in 1080p and upscale it to 4K. Since this feature was never added to Switch 1, Peace Walker works the same as its HD Collection bretheren.
MGS4, on the other hand, was remastered from scratch for the Master Collection specifically, so it’s better optimized for all consoles, including the Switch 1.
Bruh, why is Peacewalker more limited than freaking Guns of the Patriots, a freaking PS3 exclusive game??? I thought for sure GotP was gonna be harder to remaster because of the awful PS3 architecture.
Konami, you astound me.
Konami is pretty bad at remastering games. I mean silent hill hd collection is infamous for how broken it is. And how the first MGS collection had many problems on switch when the games were simply playstation 1 and 2.
Incredibly lazy.
They better not fuck up a potential Metal Gear Rising remaster.
