Back in October 2021 Nintendo terminated the iOS and Android game Dr. Mario World presumably because there just wasn’t enough active users. Now it has emerged that Nintendo has applied for a new trademark for Dr. Mario World leading to online speculation that the game could be ported to the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.

It’s weird that the switch was the only Nintendo console to not get a new dr Mario game. Maybe they could revive this as a complete edition or remaster on the switch.
Yeah, the same for Mario Vs. Donkey Kong (at least a mini mario one, but I think that’s probably due to previous gens’ oversaturation)
It does strike me as kind of strange, considering Dr. Mario really would fit as the perfect sort of eshop exclusive digital only Switch 1 game to pad out a light month on the console. Maybe it’s just they haven’t had much reason/space to slot it in to their dev cycles

I’ve been hoping for awhile now that both this and Dragalia Lost find their way onto Switch/Switch 2. I think this could totally work as like a $15 eShop game.
Its very strange that Dr. Mario games hasn’t be ported to any modern Nintendo consoles yet. This could be a remaster to the first Dr. Mario game for the NES.

Sonicgalaxy said there’s been no ports of Dr. Mario on Switch systems (which isn’t true vis Nintendo Classics apps) and suggested they should remaster the original Dr. Mario.

So what, does he go around doing house calls now? You have to drive from location to location to do a puzzle, returning to the hospital every so often to upgrade your skill tree and there’s an occasional viral outbreak that serves as a boss encounter?
Nah they just had a bunch of characters like Dr. Baby Wario and Dr. Goomba Tower

Nintendo delayed Advance Wars cause of Ukraine War. Till Nuremberg 2.0 they should hold off on this game.
