Mega Man: Dual Override gets a new trailer, Mega Man skin announced for Pragmata

At Gamescom Opening Night Live, Capcom debuted a brand new trailer for Mega Man: Dual Override, showing off more gameplay footage and revealing the new boss Twinkle Girl. We still don’t have a release date for the anticipated 2D action platformer, but Mega Man’s return will be arriving for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 at some point in 2027. Additionally, a Mega Man skin has been announced to be “coming soon” for Pragmata, which launched for Nintendo Switch 2 earlier this year.

2. I think we are in store for two more collections before all of the mega man games are playable on modern hardware.
    1. Legends Collection: Would include Mega man legends 1, 2, the misadventures of tron bonne, and maybe a prototype for the cancelled legends 3
    2. A mega man obscure release collection (I would call it Mega man gems collection) would include many of the missing games and weird releases. We could get mega man soccer, the extreme games, mega man and bass, mega man powered up, and a ton of that weird stuff.
Capcom, could you make those collections and then focus on making new entires for the sub series like a new battle network or X game?

  3. Mega looks as stiff as mouse cursor moving across the screen. The graphics look like 2012. Level design is boring from what they’re showing. Nothing pops. New platformers from obscure indie devs look more intriguing and crafted than this from Capcom. Where’s the part where a brand new mega man game looks cool? I don’t see anything that makes me think ‘awesome!’

  4. I agree, it looks cheap and like a cash grab and I don’t really like unnecessary gimmick mechanics, I don’t think every game needs a new gimmick mechanic, there’s a difference in evolution of a game franchise and just adding random gimmicks. I’ve beaten all of the Classic, Mega Man X, and Zero games by the way.
