Crunchyroll appears to be the latest streaming app that is being removed from the now aging but perfectly fine Nintendo Switch. Crunchyroll hasn’t explained why they are discontinuing the service and it will be bothersome for those that rely on the Nintendo Switch app to watch the latest anime series. YouTube remains operational on the Nintendo Switch, so hopefully this doesn’t set off a chain of events. The Crunchyroll app will be removed from the Nintendo Switch on 30th October.
Wait Crunchyroll was on the switch?
Yeah, that’s the 2nd one we lose this year. Hulu was discontinued back in like feb-march. I think YouTube might be the last streaming service left.
This is such bs… it was amazing on Switch, you could even download the episodes… I really hope this means they’re putting it on Switch 2 but like :(
