It probably shouldn’t come as too much as surprise that Final Fantasy VII Revelations will require a huge amount of storage space when it releases on 8th April. Square Enix says that the Nintendo Switch 2 version will require at least 130GB of storage space and it’s likely to be larger than that if you factor in a day one update. There will be a physical version, but it will naturally be a Game-Key Card.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think this is the biggest switch 2 game in data size. I think the kingdom hearts collections is 134 gigabytes, so that is probally the biggest. I think it’s kind of funny that Ubisoft and Bethesda do a pretty good job shrinking down the file sizes, but then square enix just releases these gigantic things.
Go back to the N64. The rest of us want to play new games thx.

Yea I learned my mistake getting part 2 on the switch 2, I’ll definitely have to get part 3 on PC. I will say it’s impressive that it runs on the switch, but the file size is not favorable for the switch 2 and the performance definitely becomes more noticeable in the last half of the game.
Don’t these fools know that this platform doesn’t have hot swappable 2TB disks that easily swap out like a PC

After this ridiculous controversy about the gamekey cards, now there’s going to be controversy about the size of the games… it’s getting ridiculous…
The latter will only be because of the former. THESE GAMES EAT UP SPACE! Forcing you to buy several microSD express cards for every 1-3 AAA game, or DELETE the games to purchased, even if you can redownload from your eShop account (which takes time, and could be taken away from you on a whim).
