  1. Honestly I don’t think it’s a good idea, the game will be very tough on the PS5 never mind anything weaker, PS5 will barely be providing an adequate experience, I can’t imagine how watered down it would be on Switch 2 with its weaker than Series S CPU.

PS5 can still deliver pretty good looking and running games, Switch 2 can as well, but these demanding third party titles are really not the right place for the system.. Why pay the same price or more for a significantly watered down game in terms of performance and graphics if you can get it on PC or PS5? To make matters worse a lot of third party games are stupid key card BS as well.

The only games I’m getting for Switch 2 are 60FPS titles that don’t look far away from the other console versions, and fully on card like Yooka-Replaylee, otherwise they’re a no buy for me.

  2. I guess it’s up to both companies to make the final decision to allow the upcoming game come to Nintendo Switch 2 and I know it will come at a later date on the platform next year.

  3. Oh my… that’s a terrible take on things. Also good luck finding a physical version of gta vi

even on Switch 1 Witcher 3 was a great experience for me. I know it didn’t look as good but it’s about gameplay and entertainment not graphics. If you can’t reduce the graphical fidelity enough to get a good experience running on Switch 2 and the game be enjoyable then the game isn’t enjoyable no matter how graphically impressive it is

  4. It could work if they do it correctly. If they could remove a lot of the NPCs and obstacles, remove many advanced physics like skin jiggling, and just tone down the assets enough and then Pop it into DLSS at 30 fps and then, there is a good chance it could work. Just get the team who porter MHW or Star Wars outlaws. But to be honest, this would be a very strange game to see on switch 2. Like it could work, but it will probably be one of the dirtiest games ever released.

    1. Yes. If this games runs really smoothly on the Switch 2 at a later date then we will definitely have it in the new machine as long it’s not too sloppy.
