During today’s Sonic Club Chaos 35th anniversary livestream, SEGA announced that their collaboration with Epic Games is still to be continued. A Fortnite teaser of Metal Sonic’s eyes glowing red appeared briefly at the event, revealing that the fan-favorite robotic clone of Sonic created by Dr. Eggman will be jumping from the Battle Bus and joining the Battle Royale in the near future. Sonic Movie 4 hits theaters on March 19, 2027, and considering Metal Sonic is confirmed to be involved with the story, we can likely expect the skin to release in Fortnite sometime before then. In case you missed it, Sonic the Hedgehog is already a major part of the current gaming-themed Fortnite season, Chapter 7: Season 4 (Override).
SEGA teases Metal Sonic coming to Fortnite
I hope they get Danny DeVito to voice Metal Sonic.
I know some Sonic fans won’t liked this because the proportions for Fortnite skins has to be the same since some people are not a fan of android Sonic in Fortnite.
Is it weird how the Sonic movies had the first one be based off the first game, the second based of 2 and 3/knuckles, the third one being adventure 2, and now CD for 4? Very strange, but I got back into Fortnite with the hollow knight stuff added. It’s a game with good gameplay but is bloated with micro transactions that are way too pricey.
I have to agree because I think they change the prices for V-bucks which one of them used to be cheaper in 2024 if I remember correctly. Yeah Sonic Movie 4 could be Sonic CD elements base on it since the music from the game was heard in the teaser trailer.
