Nintendo has announced a paid DLC Expansion Pass for the phenomenal Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave, which will be released in three waves over the next year, with the first launching later today, including four additional weapons. Wave 2 will be available “Holiday 2026” and is set to include additional wearable outfits and three additional allies: Aurora, Smyrnos, and Jurah. Finally, we have Wave 3 arriving at an unspecified date in 2027, with new stories featuring Bertrand, Talimun, Orchel, and Anatolia, as well as new allies, classes, and more, making it easily the most substantial of the three in terms of new content. The entire pass will be priced at $34.99 in the US, and the waves will not be available for purchase separately. Gosh, why do they need to make this game longer? I am nearly 50 hours in and I am barely scratching the surface in terms of the entire story. This game will lasts forever, I love it, but I do not recommend it for people who like to 100% games, it would take you easily over 500 hours with all of the grinding and map exploration.
Would you say you’re getting your money’s worth for the games $10 price hike?
That’s RPGs for you, they make a game that is very lengthy then add more content. It’s why I haven’t finished Skyrim or JRPGs.
