In what’s seen as an inevitable but welcomed move, Nintendo have announced that Wii owners with an Internet connection will be now able to download and consume new playable Wii game demo’s.

The intriguing yet-to-be-announced demo’s can be stored onto either the systems internal 512 Flash memory, or via a seperate SD memory card depending on where you wish to stash the data.

Although Nintendo themselves have yet to confirm which demo titles will be initially available, many gamers are embracing the notion that integral system releases such as the spectacular Metroid Prime: Corruption, will be available in the not too distant future.
