Nintendo Wii U: EA Pretty Much Announce That Mass Effect Is Coming To Wii U

EA Games boss Frank Gibeau has announced that Mass Effect could be coming to the Wii U. Whilst he wouldn’t offiically confirm anything he did say that ”we’ll announce it when the time is right.” I’d say this pretty much confirms that the game will be appearing on the Wii U sometime next year.

“I can’t say we are going to do it on the Wii U, but you can imagine what we could do with that controller in the Mass Effect universe. It feels like a really nice fit, but we’ll announce that when the time is right.”

  1. I’m glad Nintendo is making the jump to hd, but I’m not sure the glorious mass effect will work well with Nintendo. I think I’ll stick with the xbox360 on that one. Give me Zelda hd!

    • I would disagree, if the graphic effect is the same quality i don’t think it matters what system mass effect is on, its a great game, I have played it on ps3, xbox, and pc. with same experience really, (other than the pc having a smaller screen). So having it on the Wii U will be fine, I would actually prefer it to be on the Wii U than on any other system, the only thing that I could see an issue for people is that the transferring of save data might not work cross platform, I have my saves on the pc for 1+2, and wouldn’t play 3 on any other system unless the data can be moved there.

  2. If thats true, than my 360 will be collecting a lot of dust soon. As I do not need it for Batman and Darksiders anymore, Mass Effect was the only one missing.
