Mario And Sonic At The London 2012 Olympics For Wii Sells Over Two Million Copies

Sega has announced that Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympics for Wii has sold over two million copies. That’s not a bad figure considering Sonic Generations for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC and Nintendo 3DS only sold 1.63 million copies on all four platforms. Sadly it wasn’t enough, as Sega’s home division has posted 5.5 billion yen in total losses.

      • No, it’s highly possible. Skyward Sword=High Note. Xenoblade Chronicles=will be a high note. Mario Party 9=Will be a high note.

Even Mario and Sonic made a high note!
        It’s entirely possible Mr. troll

        • this^
(i have/will have 3 out of the 4 games u mentioned, skyward sword will last FOREVER, mario and sonic is fun, and i cant wait for mario party 9 :D )

    • Well, what do you expect?
It’s been years since the last good Rayman platform game, and to be honest i wasn’t sure if i should buy it, after all, with so many fucking Rabbids is hard to expect something different coming from Ubisoft.

  1. Looks like they shoulda teamed up with capcom. I bet a sonic/megaman crossover would sell like hotcakes considerin capcom knows how to convince people to whore out their money. And what better way of doin it than re-releasin megaman in a sonic universe or vice-versa?

  2. Wow, so an olympic game with Mario and Sonic beat out Sonic’s 20th anniversery game. That’s just hilarious.

Probably should have put Sonic Generations in Wii. Ironiclly enough, Nintendo owners eat up Sonic’s games more often than the other 2 systems.
