Nintendo Land Revealed

Nintendo Land was just announced during Nintendo’s E3 presentation. It is described as a theme park with Nintendo characters. It will basically feature mini-games from full Nintendo games. A demo from Luigi’s Mansion was shown, where players can work together to trap and capture ghosts in a haunted room. The game will launch alongside the Wii U console this holiday.

      1. same, I can’t believe that there was no retro. and they ENDED with nintendo land. that was terrible

  1. This was sad I’m still getting the wii u but there is game that really makes me say “omg Im so getting this console because of …..” it feels like the 3ds all over again

      1. Such fun pics!! I love the pink sun glasses! I have the same exact one’s from apporx. 1985 packed away in my memory box lol.Happy WW!Paulalifeasweknowitbypaula.blogspot.com

  2. What happened to the Retro Studios project? I was hoping to see that, but all they did was chat so much shit.

  3. I was a little disappointed when the conference ended with Nintendo Land. I was expecting to hear about more 1st party and 3rd party games, more precisely hardcore… Not even word on Metroid… I’m excited for Mario and Pikmin 3. Those were the highlights. But it feels like 3DS all over again..

  4. There were definitely some games I’d love to play for Wii U, but overall… bad presentation.

I think they focused too much on trying to recoup from their confusing presentation last year and failed to deliver the goods.

I was honestly more pumped about Crysis 3 and Halo 4 this year, but was AMPED for Nintendo. I feel very let down to be honest. No Zelda to be even ANNOUNCED or hinted, no Metroid, no Super Smash Bros., and most of the third party stuff are ports from last year / early this year.

    Disappointing as hell :(

    1. So much for more core games… heard of 1 new title… and we saw it yesterday. Was a very disappointing conference.

So much for focusing on core gamers :/

  5. Not trying to be an ass or something, but things like this are the reasons why Nintendo’s systems are labeled as “children’s toys”. Of course that’s not what I think about Nintendo, but others do.
But personally, I thought they would go more “serious” ways this time. They didn’t even show that they are trying to go more into the “hardcore” direction, not at all. Nor did they even talk about The Legend of Zelda or Super Smash Bros., probably the most awaited WiiU games…
The conference was really disappointing. I was expecting more from Nintendo.

  6. Unfortunately, I feel a little disappointed. I was so pumped for this conference, but I think Nintendo didn’t sell the Wii U too well. Kinda feels like the Wii again. Not that killer title I was looking for. I still plan to get the Wii U, just don’t know if I will get one @ launch. Anyway, what happen to Retro. Thought we would hear about a new Starfox or Metriod Prime…

  8. Nintendo has to appeal to different types of gamers, not just you. Plus Nintendo Land isn’t even a full title. It’s only there to show the Wii U’s capabilities, like Wii Sports. Think about that.
