In fact, SotC isn’t that unique, although an incredible game. I mean, you fight all these bosses across the land, and there are no enemies other than that. If you look at Ocarina of Time again, you can easily see why it should be better than SotC.

Well while I would have liked to have seen Galaxy 2 on the list, there aren’t that many games on the Wii that were really groundbreaking of fantastic games. What’s wrong with SOTC? Its a fantastic game. One of the greatest games ever made. It definitely deserves to be on the list. Yes, OOT was a revolutionary game, but as a game by today’s standards, meh its decent. I love the game to death, but that type of genre has improved so much that OOT feels aged. I don’t know about WOW, but hey, millions of people play it and its ruined so many people’s lives, something has to be good about it :D
About Bioshock, its a list of the greatest video games of ALL TIME, why shouldn’t they include some modern games? Its not a list of the most revolutionary games, just games that they feel are the most fun to play. Either way, its not like Bioshock is super new right now like Skyward Sword. Glad to see classics like ALttP above Ocarina of Time. Both great games, but too many people these days put OoT above ALttP and it really baffles me. Preference is preference but come on, ALttP is the first real “polished” Zelda game; it still looks great today, even. I can’t honestly say that about OoT, despite it still being a great game. Something about now having to deal with camera angles, targeting, etc. that just lets the game be more fun and more about the actual gameplay for me.
Definitely glad to see them both on there in any case. And also glad to see Doom II and Super Mario Bros. 3. Both games easily neglected when making lists like these, in favor of games like Half-Life which people regard as the FPS holy grail for some reason. I hated the game to be quite honest, and prefer the original Halo much more.
