Buy Two Kirby Wii U Virtual Console Titles And Get A Third Free

kirby starJust when you thought that pink, round, loveable Kirby couldn’t get any sweeter, Nintendo  of America has launched a deal, giving you an extra incentive to pick those Kirby classics up. Released today on the Wii U Virtual Console are three series classics: Kirby’s Dream Land 3, Kirby’s Dream Course and Kirby Super Star. And as part of a bonus for fans, Nintendo will give you the third one absolutely free if you grab two of the titles above on the eShop. But make sure you pick them up quickly, as the deal only lasts until 9am PST May 30.

Also on offer for North America this week is The Denpa Men: They Came By Wave at a neat 20% off its $7.99 price tag. The Nintendo 3DS role-playing game will be available at the discounted price until May 30, so make sure you grab this great title while you can. And finally, if you haven’t got Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D on pre-order, then you can always download the title on the Nintendo eShop when it releases tomorrow, May 24.

    1. Dream collection only has one of those three games. I’m getting the deal so I can play on game pad instead of wii mode.

  1. random rant. but am I the only one that is frustrated at Nintendo recently? they need to get their act together. although I think its too late with the wii u. they got in a bad situation with ea (who suck as a company) but still hold the licences to great games that sell and a lot of games are skipping the wii u like the new announced game “dying light” that is coming out on ps3/4 and both Xbox’s. im not planning on upgrading my xbox soon but I would still like to play new games but because I have a wii u im missing out on quite a lot :\

    1. Looking at my EA games for Wii. Monopoly Streets and Spore Hero. 2 games out of 43. Personally I won’t miss EA.
I only wish Nintendo would stop rereleasing everything I already have. If they are going to do this at least make WiiU games for sale with Club Nintendo points.

    2. Yeah, it’s a shame about the Wii U at the moment. Once the new Xbox and PS4 are released there might be a bit of a price cut for it leading to more systems being bought and higher developer confidence in the system so more games will be made.

It may turn out that the Wii U will be the “Gamecube” of this generation in that it will eventually have some great games but simply won’t sell that well, but that remains to be seen.

What with big companies like EA sidestepping the U, Nintendo will probably actively encourage indie devs to make games for the system by reducing the price of dev kits/entry fees.

I still have high hopes for Wii U, especially in the area for RPGs/JRPGs with such a great inventory management system in the form of the Gamepad.

      1. dude no one will buy the xbox one unless they are utter retards. xbox is dead you have to pay microsoft to play used games or pay for extra accounts on your system to play the game you own already no more borrowing or trading games from your friend or rentals and talk about gimmicks the voice command crap will fade away like siri. this gen there will only be two ps4 and wii-u. xbox R.I.P 2006-2013

    3. Dying Light is a very odd case, considering that it is being published by Warner Bros, a publisher that so far has shown considerable support for the Wii U.

    1. Its not the worst. Kirby has been used as sort of a “testing ground” for gameplay styles (Examples: Mass Attack, Canvas Curse, Epic Yarn, 64 Crystal Shard) as well as has unique art styles every once and a while (part of Canvas Curse, Dreamland 3). It may not be as powerful as it used to be, but its a close 3rd as far as a Nintendo Franchise is concerned.

  3. If I use my club Nintendo code for Kirby Super Star, then buy one of the other games will I still get the third one free? Afraid to try in case I won’t get third one free. Any suggestions?
