Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut Release Date And Trailer

Square Enix is pleased to announce that  Deus Ex: Human Revolution – Director’s Cut, the definitive version of the critically acclaimed action-RPG title, is shipping for Nintendo’s Wii U system, the Xbox 360 games and entertainment system from Microsoft, the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system, and Windows PC on October 22. The Mac version will launch in the near future.

“Over the last 18 months the team has been working very hard on the development of the Director’s Cut,” said David Anfossi, Head of Studio for Eidos-Montréal. “With this edition we gave the team the envious task of pushing the boundaries in innovative and creativity to explore something we believe will become a big part of the future of the franchise, the second screen experience.”

Exclusive only to the  Square Enix Online Store, a new Deus Ex novella,  Deus Ex: Fallen Angel, will be free with the purchase of any console version of  Deus Ex: Human Revolution –  Director’s Cut.  The novella, created by James Swallow, the writer behind  Deus Ex: Icarus Effect, follows the story of Malik just prior to the events of Human Revolution and is a must have for any Deus Ex fan.

Tongs’s Rescue mission and the entire Missing Link chapter have been integrated seamlessly into the narrative flow of the  Director’s Cut. Other core  Deus Ex: Human Revolution augmentations include overhauled boss fights, refined game balance and combat, improved AI, over 8 hours of developer commentary, and striking visual improvements which make this edition the best looking and most immersive Deus Ex experience available.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution – Director’s Cut also offers a full slate of second screen features for the Wii U GamePad, Microsoft’s SmartGlass, and the PlayStation Vita system that make the touchscreen interface Adam Jensen’s primary neural.

Thanks, Simply G

    1. What does Assassin’s Creed have to do with this? ;/

Anyway, I’m sure people who haven’t played the game yet, or super hardcore fans of the series will pick it up. It won’t sell too much, but people will buy it.

      1. Big 3 arent overrated

The only people who wont buy it are jews because they get their games from bargain bin and even then those games are too expensive for them.

      2. Your math skill surprise g lol. People will prefer a new experience instead of a game they could get cheaper on other console.

    2. I’d buy this over Assassin’s Creed any day. In fact, I will be buying this on Wii U at launch as I have yet to play it and I’m intrigued by the inclusion of all DLC and developers’ commentary as well as GamePad implementation and changes to boss fights and combat.

  1. probably people will buy later. but yes a LOT of games are coming in october-november, i kind of want this game but the Wii U port doesn’t satisfy me much, not enough graphic improvements and other things.

    1. You’re just another dude who won’t buy a game unless it has amazing graphics because that’s all you people care about. People like you shouldn’t be gaming. If you bought the original Deus Ex Human Revolution then I can understand why you wont buy the Director’s Cut for Wii U but if you never owned the original then you shouldn’t be gaming because you’re just a graphics whore

      1. How is he a graphics whore? It’s true… The graphical improvements are minimal and overall improvements aren’t that impressive. And besides.. This game is old as shit and the original is dirt cheap. This game is a waste of money.

      2. blah blah blah i play various games, but let’s be honest, they barely improved anything graphically. if people were not graphic “whores” then why nintendo does release a new console totally, they could have just released a “wii gamepad” and go on with their wii for another 7 years. graphics is important. games are multimedia art projects, and graphics is one of the most important and mostly improving form of art each generation. if they remake a game then they better remake it good instead of putting a map and inventory on gamepad lol.

        1. Did you just say that the reason why Nintendo released a new console is because every Nintendo fan is a graphics whore? That’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. Do you even know what a graphics whore is? A graphic whore is someone who put graphics before everything else. A graphic whore can’t enjoy a game that doesn’t look great/amazing. Graphics matter but gameplay is more important and should matter the most to you because its the most important aspect. I will buy The Director’s Cut because it looks fun and not because of the graphics. Same with Watch Dogs which is why i’m getting the Wii U version.

        2. I agree.. If graphics really wasn’t all important then why have these crazy 2GB graphics card. Its like if you have the skills to draw anime, Why draw stick figures? haha

  2. This game still exists? I thought it was cancelled… Anyways, this game will fail big time… Especially since cod, watchdogs, batman, ass creed and bf4 are coming. And this game is year old.. No one cares.

  3. This game will not sell and I don’t feel sorry for Square Enix because this game should have stayed Wii U exclusive. Fans of Deus Ex already bought the original version 2 years ago and won’t buy the Director’s Cut. Plus most PS3/360 owners already have other games that they want to buy and won’t even care about this game. I can see the Wii U version selling a little bit better but not by much because they delayed this game so much that Wii U owners don’t really care anymore. This is why Square Enix is struggle, because of stupid business decisions like this one.

    1. Possibly to use the Smart Glass and PSVita as second screen. Gives you a different feel. Turns it into a Deus Ex part 1.5 haha with the add on stuff included. But they do have major competition this month. They should have released it last month when nothing really was goin on. They battle Assassins Creed and Battlefield 4 this month lol

  4. Wii u gets current gen because it is current generation thats right Square Enix show them bitches the truth about this fucking Plastic shit.U can suck my Wiick

  5. “Over the last 18 months the team has been working very hard on the development of the Director’s Cut,”

    WHAT?! 18 MONTHS?!
    Doing what exactly?!

  6. I FEEL BAD FOR THE DEVS I KNO THEY WORKED HARD BUT IT WONT SELL ON WII U.
THE ONLY WAY TO SELL ITS TO GIVE WII U OWNERS MARIO AND LUIGI COSTUMES FOR ADAM JENSEN.
