Media Create Says Japanese Pokemon X & Y Preorders Top 1.26 Million

untitled

Japanese gaming publication Famitsu has revealed that Pokemon X & Y pre-orders in Japan have already topped 1.26 million even excluding the download versions. The publication declares the game the most pre-ordered Nintendo 3DS game so far in Japan. Pokemon X & Y is released worldwide on October 12th, but several stores in Canada and Italy have begun selling the game early.

Thanks, Kevin

        1. Yes they are … his can the poor thing sleep when he knows they are watching him to see what they copy?

  1. I don’t trust media creates no more. After what his estimates where about mh4 I don’t trust them. They said they where a million mh4 pre orders and they where wrong by 700,000 XD :P.

    1. MH4 sold almost 2 million in 2 days in Japan at launch. Pre-orders are held for 2 days. So how do we know most of those weren’t pre-orders?

  2. That sucks that other stores got it early. That means the game is already finished and nothing new is going to be added within this and next week

    1. Erm….games are usually finished well before their release date dude. Not just Pokemon. The last few weeks are to ensure stores get all their stock or just waiting for peak times in sales (ex. games released in December)

    2. You think they announced everything there is to announce about Pokémon X and Y? They keep many secrets!! Also, games are completed months before release date. That gives room for advertisements to sink in and time to actually “make” the game!! 💋

  3. Awesome, but not unexpected. Pokémon X/Y is going to break many records. I’m definitely going to be buying it at some point, the only question is…X or Y!?

  5. It’s so hard to believe that SO many people still loves Pokémon games. I myself am a fan, but it’s not something I’m too hardcore about.

    1. Why? I mean anybody who’s completely honest about it will realize these games are really excellent and well made no matter what the age. Lol I still play the games and I’m like 26!

You should be hardcore about it hahaa!

      1. It’s just that I have WAY TOO MANY GAMES to feel hardcore about any one particular game or franchise. I have boxes of games I’ve never played. That’s the curse of being a hardcore “collector”.
