The Pokémon Company has registered two new trademarks in Europe named Pokkén Fighters and Pokkén Tournament. Trademarks were filed in the US for these two new releases last August, and were linked to the rumoured Pokémon Wii U title shown during the Pokémon Game Show in Japan. However, the Pokémon Company said the leaked image was merely conceptual, having nothing new to announce at that time.
The trademarks for both Pokkén Fighters and Tournament were filed last Thursday, May 1, but there’s no further clarification as to whether they will be games or simply merchandise. The timing of such a trademark is interesting, what with E3 around the corner, so we’ll keep our eyes peeled for any other information to pop up.
Hmmm maybe this was the leaked Wii U Pokemon game we seen ages ago…. I hope its a fighting game that lets your run about the battle field and lets you choose your attacks on fly on the touch screen :3

I want something similar to Skylanders trap team with a pokeball included with the game in which you can capture a pokemon and walk it around (like the heart/soul device) and it makes sounds so it’s like the chosen pokemon is in the ball.

I hate to say it, but I’m getting seriously sick of Pokemon. I have a hard time understanding why it’s so appealing anymore? My niece would want to slap me right now.

I said the same thing until I got a 3DS XL with Pokémon X. It’s just amazing. And it was my first Pokémon game ever.
Pokemon Diamond was MY first real Pokemon game. I thoroughly enjoyed it. But every Pokemon game I played since then just felt like the exact same thing, and I stopped playing.
It’s always fun for me to compete against other people online, think of new strategies, explore the new regions, play with the new mechanics, trade with others, catch, breed, use old and new Pokemon, and the fandom is pretty cool all around.
I’ll admit thought, the newer games of each generation (like Emerald, Platinum, B2W2, and the eventual Z) are where the games really shine with even more stuff to keep me hooked, along with remakes.
Off topic, but I pre-ordered Mario Kart 8 and holy crap. There was a freaking line in there. About 6 people out of 8 in the line asked to pre order it and said they were going to pre order Wii U’s just to get it. WTF? Man I’m glad I got it now! :/

Pokkén – Pokémon vs Tekken
This would be awesome! Imagine the Pokémon roster full of great fighting types: Machamp, Blaziken, Gallade, Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan, Infernape, Toxigroak, Infernape… I would love to see a match with Lucario vs Jin! They could also add some other types besides of the fighting, like Charizard (with his mega evolution) or Mewtwo (whose mega x is a fighter!). This game would be a dream.
It has to be the leaked images we got a while back with Lucario and Blazekin! I so hope it’s something new and innovative for the Pokemon brand!
