Mario Party 10’s trailer may have got a little lost in the 3DS-bundle-galore fray in today’s Nintendo Direct, but you can now relive the Bowser experience many times over in the embedded trailer above. Mario Party 10 will feature a new Amiibo Party mode – just pop your treasured amiibo into the game and you can play on all new amiibo-friendly boards, equip new power-ups, and launch special attacks with new items. With more than 70 mini-games, Mario Party 10 is set to release on March 20 for the Wii U in North America and Europe.
Mario Party 10 Launches March 20 For Wii U, New Trailer Showcases Amiibo Party Mode

Hold the fuck up.
IS DONKEY KONG PLAYABLE IN A MARIO PARTY ONCE AGAIN?
WOW!!! I didn’t expect for this game to be coming so early. I definitely thought it would be a holiday release or something. It looks like it could be a lot of fun but if there’s no online support consider me not interested
Online is SO highly overrated.
Yet so highly needed!
Where are the mii characters. This game would be more fun with miis.
I was planning to buy this game but NO THANKS STUPID NINTENDO! So if i buy the game i wont be able to access to all the game content (amiibo board game) if i dont buy a stupid amiibo huh? Im not interested in them and i dont want to buy one! If they have planned that this mode will be unlock when you put your amiibo before the release of the game this mean that this content is already on the game but they dont want to give it to us wothout paying more this is evem worse than the fucking dlcs : ( because is something THIS game (im not talking about the amiibo actions on hyrule warriors because it was just a dlc that content needed an update of the game by the eshop) already have inside… Anyway ninty you lost me on this particular game : ( and i really wanted mario party is my favourite nintendo couch multiplayer game u.u (im not really into smash)
Hey man if you like Mario Party you can still play, you said you don’t like amiibos right? Well you’re only missing out on amiibo content, so don’t sweat it, just enjoy the rest of the game :-) (you’ll still have the main game to play!)
I disagree with you on that one, there’s a whole freaking mode that you miss out by not having amiibos. I have a Peach amiibo so I can on her one bored but if I got tired of her board there’s nothing else I could do. I’m sure the cards will work like the amiibos or this mode can be unlike through buying it but its still a boatload of crap IMO. ~_~
I’m still going to but it but I too was upset by this. However, remember there are still the amiibo cards so perhaps you could unlock them that way or through paid DLC. :/
If the game doesn’t support online multiplayer, all hope for Nintendo’s decision making will be entirely lost.
Mario party doesnt need online multiplayer… No one likes to play monopoly online dont they? Playing mario party is like playing a board game but funnier! I think that in this particular case online would chop the spirit of the franchise, it isnt like smash bros where most of their fans are people who enjoy to play it emdlessly and learning every trick and everymove they even play it competitively!! No one plays mario party that much is a casual game for a sweet afternoon with your girl and your kids (or your girl and your friends or only your friends xD) sitting next to each other and taunting them when you are wining. Mario party is the monopoly of the videogsmes and there isnt anything wrong about it its fucking great : )
I hope you realize tons of people play monopoly online.
I didnt thats why i said that.
Well i guess if people like biars games online having the option would be good. Options are always good.
Its true that i have stated my opinions as facts sorry.
An online mode doesn’t exclude local multiplayer. Why can’t we have both, just like it’s the case with most games out there?
I see where you’re coming from, but as I’ve said, Nintendo could just retain local multiplayer and add online mode. It’s not an either-or situation, it’s very well possible to have both.
Not everyone has the family to play it with whenever they feel like playing, or the time to invite friends over each time they’d like to play the game.
It feels like Nintendo has that unrealistic perception of everyone having a picture-perfect family and lots of friends who have lots of time to waste, so anyone always has people to play with in local multiplayer whenever they wish to. But that, of course, is not the case, and Nintendo doesn’t seem to realize that. It’s not just Mario Party, but some other games of theirs too.
As i statd before you both are correct. Options are good and everyone has their circunstances i just stated my opinions as fact and i didnt realicze other peoples circunstances you are definitely righ!
No need to apologize, it’s all good. :)
And I saw your other comment only after posting my own reply, so I didn’t see it before. But as you’ve said, it’s all about options; everyone has different preferences, so having different options to choose from is what would be best.
Only boring people want online multi-player.
Only boring people play video games.
This just has to be the installment of Mario Party with online. Please dammit, please.

After Mario Party 9 being SCREWED by that idiotic cart thing, I’m skeptical about Mario Party 10.
