We all know that The Legend of Zelda Wii U has been delayed until sometime next year, so what other games are Wii U owners looking forward to this year? Well, it turns out that Monolith’s Xenoblade Chronicles X is the top of Game Informer readers lists and rightly so as the original Xenoblade Chronicles was one of the best JRPG’s of recent years. Xenoblade Chronicles X is followed by Star Fox Wii U and Splatoon. You can see the results in the pie chart above.

1 game a month is good. That is a steady stream. We don’t need 3-5 games a month. Nobody can afford that shit.
Maybe you can’t, but I buy at least 2 games a week. Its usually 1 triple A month and rest are smaller indie titles but I still pick up at least 8 games a month.
I would rather have 1 game a year the caliber of Xenoblade X then 3-4 AAAAAAAA mind numbing self playing garbage, and shallow indie games.
I would rather all games go back to being the caliber of Xenoblade, but your generation has destroyed that.

Since im not a big RPG guy, im personally most excited for splatoon because of how unique it is.
Unique? It’s a shooter. Only difference is ink instead of bullets and cartoon graphics instead of realistic graphics.
That’s what makes it unique plus the fact that you aren’t trying to kill people like a death match and instead shoot ink all over the place, and the fact that you turn into a squid and move around your opponents without being seen. Seriously, if you don’t see the uniqueness then something is wrong

That’s a pretty solid lineup. But there’s also Project Cars, Armikrog, Heart Forth Alicia, and [hopefully this year] Fire Emblem X SMT. Those 4, I personally, would buy before many on the chart above.
(I’ll definitely be picking up Xenoblade, Mario Maker, Splatoon, and Don’t Starve, though).

Xenoblade Chronicles X is #1 on my Wii U Most Wanted must-buy list. Producer Takahashi’s love for giant robots and the Gundam series have have truly fulfilled beyond expectations while director Kojima (Koh) have ultimately pushed the envelope in making their very first HD JRPG.
Star Fox U is next on my list since I’d enjoyed playing the Super NES original and the N64 version that includes the Rumble Pak. And finally, Devil’s Third. Itagaki and his team at Valhalla Game Studios had showed us the early build and it looked very promising… gameplay and all including a free for all online battle mode. I have complete faith that Valhalla and Nintendo SPD will show us the overall improvements including the official release date.
I am most definitely looking forward to Xenoblade but… Where’s Fire Emblem? ;u;
It’s coming to the Nintendo 3DS later. What we saw last January was an early build. Intelligent Systems will reveal the rest hopefully later this year.

Doesn’t look like 2015 is gonna be a great year after all. Xenoblade Chronicles X is a definite MUST BUY. I still have my Xenoblade Chronicles for Wii. And StarFox is still a ‘maybe’ for me. We just haven’t seen anything on it yet. Everything else on this list is a pass for me.
I don’t get all the trolls on here saying that Nintendo is lame or has lost it, get a real hobby other than telling fans of a wonderful company that they are stupid for enjoying something.. They are the single best video game publisher in the world. 2015 is a great year to own a Wii U just like 2014 was and 2016 looks great as well. This list is just the games we know of, wait till E3 and Nintendo will drop a “Big” game they haven’t said a word about till then. Could be a another beautiful remaster (like Wind Waker) or N64 eShop library. I cant wait to play a New StarFox!

Seeing Nintendo’s 2015 game forecast makes me glad I bought a PS3. So at least I have other games to play during this drought of a Nintendo year. I wish the NX was coming next year. Mainly because I don’t see the Wii U picking up steam any time soon. Zelda might be the very last GOOD game that I care about. Unless a new Animal Crossing comes out. Or an HD Super Mario Sunshine.
