The LEGO Group have announced LEGO Dimensions, an all-new entertainment experience that breaks the rules of traditional gaming to merge physical LEGO brick building with interactive console gameplay in a manner only imaginable in the world of LEGO games. Launching September 28, 2015, the game will fuse many fan-favourite universes together, including DC Comics, The Lord of the Rings, The LEGO Movie, The Wizard of Oz, LEGO Ninjago, Back to the Future, and many more still to be announced.

I don’t even know where they’re gonna be keeping all these extra toys. I imagine retailers like Walmart could make room, but for places like GameStop they’re gonna have 0 room to put them on shelves along with Skylander, Amiibo, and Disney Infinty. Nintendo kinda pushed it with Amiibo, but the way they’re used kind of made up for another toy-to-life series. But a fourth? It’s beginning to be the console’s answer to “in app purchases”.
Well, this is Lego so places like Toys R Us, Smiths toy store and many other toy stores might sell them, whilst game stores sell a few of the figures plus the game and portal

I don’t see this taking off, but maybe it will. People aren’t as attached to Lego Back to the Future as ACTUAL Back to the Future and such. It’s cute in their lego games, but I just don’t see people craving them as much as amiibos and such. But maybe I will be wrong. Don’t get me wrong, I like lego, but I don’t really like playing Lego Batman and stuff. Lego City Undercover however was awesome. I prefer Lego when it’s Lego. Not Lego “Insert popular brand/series name.” Not against it, and anyone who wants them, go for it. But it will be as useless as skylanders and disney infinity to me, cause I have no attachment to lego batman or lego lord of the rings. I do however have an attachment to the movie…ok I’ll take a Unikitty if they make her lol.
