    1. From what I heard Code Name steam does really hit the mark or reach its goals in terms of what it wanted to accomplish….apparently its just an ok game

I love Code Name Steam. Hope we see a sequel. There are a lot of things that could be improved from the first game and I loved seeing all the American-based characters from history/literature.

    3. I own it. I keep trying to play it but it just doesn’t hold your interest very well. It starts great, but gets repetative…not sure it deserved a 6, but it’s not as great as some other games we’ve been getting.

    4. It´s just that it´s an strategy game, a genre that most people do not appreciate. CodeName Steam is even more difficult than the average strategy game because it doesn´t feature an overview of the playfield. The game itself is great (in my opinion, I love strategy games) but I feel that people not used to the genre may find it a little tedious and repetitive. Try the demo.

      1. Nintendo Tetrarch Quadramus-NX

        >>>If I had to choose I would probably pick Dark Souls considering Mortal Kombat is yet another game that has strayed far away from what it was, it’s not even Mortal Kombat anymore, it’s only an excuse to show exagurated brutality that has no sense whatsoever which makes it have zero impact compared to the ever legendary true fatalities of the older ones>>>

  1. I haven’t play dark souls, but I know they are awesome. Bloodborne is my first game of the series, and it gives me anxiety attacks every 5-10 minutes. I love it, so I’ll definetly be trying dark souls, demon souls, and kings field. ;))))

            1. Yeah it will probably turn into a love-hate relationship kind of thing. I farm and farm and upgrade till the part I’m at is at least bearable. Then rinse and repeat at the next location.

      1. Kaptain Krusha K. Roolenstein

Why? Because it’s just like 9 just with a tiny bit of added kharacters, new fatalities that they just thought of, and a story mode that added real time events that kan be finished in a day.
Nothing to big on fighting games especially ones that just try to up the gore in every installment.

        1. Personally, I haven’t played it yet. But 9 was good and they improved upon it even further with this game. In no way does it deserve a 5. The lowest I’d go is a 7.

      1. Except that Mortal Kombat X actually lived up to the hype, and is one of the best fighting game in years. Fucktard.

  2. Broken Age doesn’t deserve an 8/10 after what Tim Schifer pulled…
I think Codename S.T.E.A.M. should have gotten an 8/10 because it’s really fun and not to mention it’s a new IP from Nintendo and the Fire Amblem guys.

    1. Just because it’s a new IP doesn’t mean it should get a higher score. But I say a 7/10 for code name steam and 8.5/10 for MKX

  5. Ridley, the Angel of Death

With those DLC prices, I’d give Mortal Kombat X a fucking 3! Edge was just being generous, so be happy, Mortal Kombat X fans!

    1. So instead of giving it an actual fair review, you give it a 3 because of DLC? I’m sorry, but that’s just stupid.

      1. Ridley 4 Smash DLC!

A whole 30 bucks for just 4 characters & a few skins is definitely not a stupid reason to give the game a lower score! IF that 30 bucks added a whole new mode to the game as well, then I’d gladly give them a better score.

          1. Ridley 4 Smash DLC!

It’s a classic fighting game. I don’t need to play what I’ve already played countless times before. I know how Mortal Kombat plays. So with that said, I give it a 3. Mortal Kombat hasn’t been good since the N64 days.

              1. Ridley 4 Smash DLC!

Oh but it does. If the game’s gameplay changed drastically from the last game I played, then you’d have a case for “it doesn’t work that way.” But as it stands, it loses 7 points for bogus DLC. If the $30 Mortal Kombat X DLC came with more stuff than what the $20 DLC for Hyrule Warriors came with, then I’d reconsider my stance. Sadly for MKX, Hyrule Warriors DLC came with tons of more stuff that added hours upon hours of more play time for me. 4 new characters & 12 skins will not do what Hyrule Warriors DLC has done for me. In fact, it’s still doing it for me because I’m still not done with all of the adventure maps.

                  1. Ridley 4 Smash DLC!

If I was you, I’d wait 6 months to a year just to make sure they don’t try to release a GOTY edition that adds the DLC for free. I don’t know how often that happens but I wouldn’t risk it.

                    1. l don’t think there will be one for quite some time now. But I guess I could just get the PC version since it’s the cheapest. I thought the Kombat pack was a rip off at first, but with what it comes with, it made sense. Skin packs are $3.99 each. Seperate characters are $5. You do the math and $16+20= $36. That $6 can then be used on whatever you want that isn’t in the Kombat Pack. (I think I’ll be going with Blue Steel Sub Zero)

                1. Woah, woah, wait a second. I just found something incredibly wrong with what you just said. Ok, so you’re complaining because the game makes you pay for skins and a few extra characters. And… You say the DLC isn’t worth it because it doesn’t introduce new modes and stuff? Imo, that’s actually a terrible idea. Paying for skins is one thing, but a whole mode? No way.

                    1. Btw, I have Mortal Kombat X now. And yes, I did get the Kombat pack as well. I give it an 8.5. Would’ve been a 9 if more of my favorite characters were in it, but at least they brought back Tanya with the Kombat Pack. I hope they continue to support the game and release more characters.
