Here’s The US Splatoon Commercial Complete With Cheesy Music

Nintendo of America has uploaded the very first television commercial for their upcoming ink based shooter, Splatoon. The trailer might remind you of early Nickelodeon adverts, which I can’t work out is good or bad. There’s plenty of colourful fast paced gameplay showcased which is a good thing, but people will undoubtedly be divided by the soundtrack that accompanies the trailer. What do you make of the Splatoon television commercial.

Awesome song for a seemingly awesome game. Hopefully it is a theme I can listen to as I play Turf War!!!

  3. This whole game is so cheesy that it might as well be cheese they’re shooting out of their guns.

  4. Peanut Butter Kit Kat

This is going to be big, which is probably why Activision is thinking of riding on its coat tails by releasing BO3

The Nickelodeon feel actually fits the game very nicely. Especially considering they obviously made this game specifically for kids. After all, since the reasoning for no voice chat is because of the hurtful things people can say & one of the guys making it couldn’t handle it, it’s obviously something meant for impressionable children that can’t handle harsh words.

A game that if someone actually insulted it for being a kiddy game, I wouldn’t be able to actually tell them how wrong they are.

Hah! Not really. You want to know who are the main people that go out into the woods to play paintball gun war? Teenagers AND adults. Trust me but Splatoon is not just for kids because I guarantee you there are a lot of adults that would love to play this game, too.
