The first image of the Mewtwo amiibo has surfaced and as you would expect it looks wonderful. The amiibo was spotted at the San Diego Comic Con which officially opens its doors later today. Nintendo had previously stated that the Mewtwo amiibo would be on display, but it seems as though someone was able to get in early and snap a much appreciated photo.

Scalpers (and Nintendo’s poor ability to keep up stock) has turned me off on collecting amiibos. It’s no longer fun.
Same here. But I’m considering importing all future amiibos. It make cost me some money, but I’d rather import than pay scalpers for it or run around the area amiibo hunting.

He’s just an edgy young teenager that grew up in the era after Nintendo was the king of the gaming world. He needs to get tucked into his little play-pin cause he’s too cranky! This amiibo looks really fucking weird. it has the transparent thing to keep it standing going up it’s ass and its left hand position looks weird. I can expect mistakes like this but I just can’t stop laughing at the fact that the thing is going up it’s ass xDD
@Ultraviolet, I’ve gotta say I agree with what you said the positioning of that thing is… weird , I get that Nintendo tends to have messed up amiibo at times but this takes the cake. I personally downright think this amiibo is ugly. I like mewtwo but this amiibo is… eww god save the people who like mewtwo this looks terrible.

Nobody but me seems bothered by the fact that his feet are almost completely off of the base… looks weird as hell. Otherwise, this could be the first Pokemon amiibo I actually do want.
The final cut of this amiibo, like all other final character amiibo, will look like shit while the prototypes will all look awesome af.
Considering they are having a hard time with stocking the final cut of amiibo, imagine how much worse it probably would be if they made sure to make sure all amiibo sold in stores were exactly like the prototypes. *shudder*
