Splatoon Is Getting A New Map Called Camp Triggerfish Later Today

Another multiplayer map will soon be added to the stage rotation in Splatoon. The new map, which is called Camp Triggerfish, will be available starting today at 7 p.m. PT. In Camp Triggerfish, battles play out across a series of bridges, which players will have to cross to reach their opponents’ turf. Below is an official description of the new map, courtesy of Splatoon’s Tumblr page.

Each team base at Camp Triggerfish is outfitted with a set of floodgates. When the gates are down, it’s easier for the other team to come and go as they please. In Turf War, the gates lower with one minute left on the clock, leading the way for late-game assaults. In Ranked Battle, they stay down so players can come and go as they please. Watch out in Tower Control! The tower’s path is almost always over water and you’ll need to show off your best squid skills to avoid getting dunked.

  1. Yeah! Finally! This is the map I was waiting for since the first time it was shown! I’m definitely looking forward to trying it out.

  2. Looks pretty cool. This game gets better and better over time, i’ve enjoyed watching it grow since launch. Now if only they’d raise the level cap and add more gear or rework the shops a bit to sell new stuff more frequently. Then they could lock some of the new weapon variants behind levels higher than 20.

        1. Bro, with all due respect, It’s legegendry bird NUMBERONEe!! I mean HAVE YOU SEEN THOSE FEATHERS.! Dey so majestic, so beautiful!
