    1. But this is the “New3DS Micro” though, which by the way, is a debut in NA.
(I nicknamed it “Micro” so it wont be confusing lol… the system is the smaller version with the changeable faceplates.)

  1. Too late, still sticking with the superior New 3DS XL. Though anyone who wanted it to begin with can still feel free to buy it.

    1. It ain’t superior for 3 reasons: No faceplate, pain in the ass to remove the back plate to switch memory cards and it barely changed anything from its older counterpart such as the screen solution (pixels) and the battery still lacks longitivtiy.

      1. Why would you need to switch memory cards? It can wirelessly connect with computers due to it’s use of the MicroSD. I also don’t see the ultimate desire for faceplates either. Instead of using a 2 dollar custom skin of your choice, you instead use limited chosen, pricey pieces of plastic that aren’t easy to store at all. As for the battery, it lasted me an 8 hour plane ride and still didn’t hit red, better than my crappy samsung lol.

        1. What would happen if you wanna back up your SD memory physically to a PC or if it gets corrupted. You still need a goddamn tiny ass screw driver when on the smaller one you just pop out a back plate and there you go. 8 hours on that thing is still not even close enough. 12-15 on the XL is a prime target for good battery life range.

            1. No. That’s what most girls would say. lol

More to the point, tiny screw drivers are tricky to get and deal with especially tiny screws. Once you drop or lose it, it’s like needle in a hay stack.

      2. The changeable face plates makes the smaller New 3DS look tacky. I’d like the blue XL, but I’m patient. It’ll come eventually

      1. I want it in black, that’s it and once again, Nintendo doesn’t give what I want. X( I’m not buying a white 3DS prone to get filthy on sight quick with that boring ass AC game that I don’t want.

        1. They’ll release the standalone models eventually.
Just be patient. It’s called business.
Honestly, this was a good strategy by them to try to force that game on people.
It really doesn’t sound like anyone wants the game. I sure as hell don’t.
And I’m a fan of AC. Amiibo Festival looks dumb too.

  2. I really didn’t want the designer game but oh that sexy white new3ds, i might just get it anyways. i would have imported a standard model long ago if it weren’t for the region lock so the extra cost doesn’t bother me too much.

  6. For those that call this regular N3DS, micro or mini, just have to remember that the system is still bigger than a regular 3DS system. I was waiting for it come to the states to finally upgrade my system.
