Retro Studios long-awaited website has finally gone live and it looks nice, clean and simple. Unfortunately it doesn’t give any hints as to what the team is working on at present, but hopefully that should be revealed at E3. For now, be sure to check out the website and follow their social media channels to keep up to date with the news.

Hopefully Metroid Prime 4 on Wii U next year.
Tanabe indirectly confirmed during E3 that Retro is not working on a Prime game.
Tanabe doesn’t have to be working on Metroid you know…he isn’t at Retro and who knows if he even knows what they are doing.
That’s why I said ‘Prime’, not Metroid.
I think that the general idea was that the main Prime series was finished, according to what I’ve heard, and I’d prefer if they made a 2D Metroid game or perhaps a “2.5D” Metroid game, especially since it’s been more than 10 years since the last one.
Again, Tanabe has expressed interest in making a fourth entry, unless you are referring to the plot of the original trilogy. A new game could happen sooner than later. Federation Force proves that, in a way.
A open world 3rd person 3D Metroid game that’s done right would be awesome. Hopefully Retro or whoever it is that Nintendo decided to put in charge of the franchise has that in mind regarding their next project but regardless if it’s 1st person, 2D or 3rd person, I just want a great Metroid game
Metroid Wii U yes, Prime 4 no. Prime is done. And this year, not next year.
Holy shit they have an career option. I’ve made my fucking choice.
Can’t wait for federation force
Said no one ever.
Yes unlike a lot of people online I can’t wait to try it for myself that game is in one of many genres I like to play and since I am a fan of the metroid series and since it has something to do with the next 3d metroid game I can’t wait and I will definitely be posting my opinion If i think it is bad or OK or a good game
^THIS. EXACTLY THIS.
It would had been better if they started immediately after they finished Tropical Freeze. I never understood why game designers need 3 to 4 years of a break between games.
it would be awesome if Metroid came out for the wiiu, cause if it did i would most Def buy it.
