Along with Banjo-Kazooie as a playable DLC Fighter, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will be updated to version 5.0 later tonight. Included will be the Home Run Contest, which Sakurai says will be the final mode added to the game. The official tweet is down below.

If you say this direct is bad then your eyes are blinded
Where? I uploaded my Smash game I dont see neither Banjo nor this.
Do you go to the Vault? Do you go to Games and More?
Nintendo playing games. I’m one the e Eshope and see the bundle I already purchased and see the bear and bird and I’m clicking confirmed and nothing happened. Knew it just another Pikmin 4 near completion lie.
So where my DLC they said was available on 9-4-2019?
No “Break the Targets” or “Board the Platforms”..? *sad face*
Oh and… *throws arms up in the air* Yay! Home Run Contest! I suck at it but still!
I think this is the final mode they will add for what Sakurai said in the video.
