Final Fantasy III Boxart

If there is one game series that can create mass hysteria between fans, and generate decent review scores it’s Squares-Enix Final Fantasy series. Thankfully it appears we are currently one step closer towards the final product, as the Japanesse arm of the company have decided to grace us with the frankly beautifully designed box-art for this epic game.

As I’m sure many of you are aware Square-Enix have been hard at work creating a revamped version of the only Final Fantasy franchise that never had the courtesy of being treated to an English translation. From what I’ve witnessed of the title, it’s shaping up to become yet another gem in the Nintendo Ds ever growing back-catalogue of superb games.

The title is set to fully utilize the Ds hardware, as it comes equipped with full touch screen/stylus use, Wifi, and uses the system’s ability to display 3 dimensional graphics to help display some stunning looking landscapes. With all these new ingredients combined, Square-Enix will present fans of the series with possibly the companies finest hour to date… My fingers are crossed.

  1. Yup, it’s shaping up to become a gem.

Oh, and also a rumour has just popped up about the game that allows players to send each other letters via the Nintendo Wifi connection. Once players have sent these letters, events are then created within the game for the user to play through…

Things are certainly hotting up for this title.
