Shigeru Miyamoto has categorically stated that the forthcoming Super Mario Galaxy 2 will be geared towards hardcore gamers.
‘I do believe that there is a lot here to appeal to the more veteran and more experienced gamers, and I think it’s a title that they will obviously enjoy, but I really took it into consideration and tried to do our best to create a game that’s accessible to new gamers as well. And, you know, we also built it with consideration that we believe that people who played through the first Mario Galaxy have become better players.’

Yeah, after busting my buns to get all 120 stars (that toy time board with the disappearing floor tiles is torture!)… I guess it could be safe to say I’m a better player.
After not playing SMG in several months, the news of SMG2 has inspired me to pick up where I left off with Luigi. Still more challenging, but after a long break, it seems easier to get used to Luigi’s skidding and the other differences he has from Mario.
I had the same problem with that level.
awseme i wish it was out now if it was 800 bucks i would buy it its true to i love the originals though smg2 would be the best game ever
