Nintendo of America have finally announced that the Mario 25th Anniversary edition Nintendo Wii is making its way to the United States on November 7th.
The special edition bundle will retail for $199.99 and comes bundled with a copy of New Super Mario Bros Wii and Wii Sports along with the recently announced Wii Remote Plus controller. Unlike its European counterpart the console won’t come with the original version of Donkey Kong.
Oh thank god.
They should’ve thrown in Wii Sports Resorts at least, so the new Wii Remote Plus could’ve come in handy here.
Didn’t the Japanese version come super Mario brothers all-stars? Am I missing something?
That was always a Japanese exclusive, unfortunately.
what a DISAPPOINTMENT!
just include DK and/or wii sports RESORT too… and/or or mario all stars…
F.
Thanks two-bit. Appreciate your response. Im a little disappointed that it’s not loaded with Mario all-stars, so much so that I won’t be buying it. I fell bad, because I love nintendo and had been looking forward to this…argh!
This sucks. I can’t belive my luck would be so bad! I bought my Wii last december and months later I hear about the Wii having the Wii plus thing on for THE SAME PRICE. And now another bundle? FOR THE SAME PRICE? man.
I would consider this…hmm
Just noticed: MNN has 2 million views! Congrats! ^___^
