  1. Yup, the Wii era is coming to an end. This is precisely what they did with the GameBoy Advance and Nintendo DS , before they got replaced. Now we’re seeing the Wii system being available in various designs. (Or in this case, colors.) Besides, the Nintendo games at E3 2010 said it all.

      1. No, I meant the games were good. My thoughts were on Mario Sports Mix, which itself stretches to the 2011 window. Just saying that Nintendo seems to be following a simiar marketing pattern nowathen.

      2. Oh, I almost forgot. Still on this case… Kirby. Everytime this guy shows up, it always spells the end to that console. NES, Super Nintendo and N64, Kirby showed up within the last 1 – 2 years. Even the unreleased “Kirby Adventure” for the GameCube was schedule to be released in 2005, a year before the Wii showed up. No surprise if “Kirby’s Epic Yarn” is Nintendo’s signal for the end of the Wii era.

  3. Yes, I agree with Andalusio as well. I’d like to add that I’ve been thinking this since not long after E3. The lineup for this Christmas is just a little TOO good, don’t you think? I think they’re trying to have Wii go out with a bang, so to speak.

Jeeze, I’m starting to sound like a broken record with that last sentence. I say it all the time…..
