Online gaming publication Kotaku are reporting that Nintendo 3DS users can register up to a hundred friends on the system.
Nintendo of America’s director of product marketing, Bill Trinen has also told Kotaku that gamers will be able to message each other via the system but he wouldn’t reveal any more than that.
