Online gaming publication IGN has retracted its previous statement that the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console will be available at launch. Presumably the store will go live with the 3DS eShop which will be available to consumers in May.
“The VC is a part of the eShop. The eShop, and I’m looking at my Q&A with Nintendo right now, hits in May.”

Well done ign, you bunch of muppets.
And just yesterday, they said “Virtual Console will come with the 3DS”
Sloppiest launch ever.
No big deal though. I pre-ordered my 3DS yesterday!
I TOLD YOU NOT TO PLAY GAMES WITH MY HEART!
I told you… :(

Damn May? I think it’s a bad move by Nintendo. I hope they’re not rushing the 3ds, a feature as big as the virtual console, should be up and running on day 1.
