Hideki Konno, the producer of the Nintendo 3DS has explained to British news publication The Guardian one of the reasons why the Nintendo 3DS will make Star Fox 64 3D much easier to play than the original on the Nintendo 64.
“In Star Fox, there’s the mode where you’re flying through ring. On a 2D screen, sometimes that’s hard to do, because you can’t understand how far one ring is from the other. But now, with the 3DS, it’s easier to see where they are”

ok now i love the 3DS and nintendo and starfox…but that seems like a cop-out answer lol
It’s not a cop-out answer at all. He’s referring to the 3D effect and how it is easier in 3D vision to perceive depth of field. The rings will almost appear out at the player and become more visible.
Doesnt matter to me im still gona get it
So if Star Fox 64 will be easier on the 3DS will Slippy Toad be less annoying?
Do a barrel roll!
Use the boost to get through

I never had any problems with it on the N64 or Wii, so whatever.
I just hope they’re using the original voice tracks.
Use bombs wisely!
same old “news” about how 3d controles better in Stereoscope. Yes, we get it.
I love star fox…dying for the release. at least they’re talking about it, I mean, to me it was better than Ocarina of Time, but to play the game in 3D…that’ll be priceless. now if we could just get a launch date…
