According to the recent NPD report Nintendo have shifted an astounding 35 million Nintendo Wii consoles in the United States alone, making it the fastest console ever to reach the 35 million mark.
During the month of February the Nintendo Wii sold 454,000 units placing it just behind Microsoft’s Xbox 360 which sold 535,000 consoles. Sony however declined to reveal their sales, prompting many to believe that the Playstation 3 came in third place.
