Nintendo’s Hideki Konno has informed US gaming publication Nintendo Power that the long awaited Mario Kart 3DS will feature a whole host of new exciting features that gamers will want to experience.
While Hideki Konno refused to divulge exactly what these upcoming features are, expect to hear plenty of information regarding Mario Kart 3DS at this years E3 conference in June.
“Now that Nintendogs + Cats is done, I’ve been able to spend more time and energy on Mario Kart development. We really want to bring a bunch of new elements into the game, and I’m really looking forward to the time that I can announce what these elements are. Perhaps we’ll be able to talk in more detail at this year’s E3 event.”

Perhaps they’ll bring over other Nintendo game characters as unlockable drivers? I want to play as Link! XD
OLIMAR!!!!
This is Mario Kart, not Nintendo Kart. XD
(Although DS did have ROB and Wii did have Miis….)
maybe then I’ll buy a 3ds because right now the games still suck
I think a power up that makes all of your online opponents experience 2D 8-bit graphics for a short period of time would be so sweet! Make the power up symbol an NES cartridge lol.
Please let the new elements be Streetpass features. The 3ds is woth buying for streetpass alone.
I think it will support AR cards and the ability to bring various karts into the real world in some form or fashion… Something like the AR Track where you can build your own course and race

I hope they have an item deleter in multiplayer like in Smash Bros. so we can get rid of the blue shells.
Perhaps customizable karts and racing clothes
I want AR Card support! That will be fun. :)
I can’t wait to get it for my 3DS! :D
C WUT U DID THAR! “bunch of exciting new elements”; bunch of bananas, heh; no.
