Nintendo Wii: Dragon Quest Collection Celebrating 25th Anniversary On The Nintendo Wii

Square Enix are celebrating the 25th anniversary of the ridiculously popular Dragon Quest series by releasing a Dragon Quest compilation on the Nintendo Wii.

The Dragon Quest Collection will include Dragon Quest 1, 2, and 3 all on one single Wii disc. All the games will be playable with the Wii remote, Wii classic controller and the Gamecube controller. Sadly there’s no word of a Western release yet but expect to hear something shortly.

  1. A bit of a weird choice. Three games that should really be on the VC/3DS VC by now. Couldn’t they have at least gave us a Wii port of DQ 8?

  2. I think I would like those games if I could get over the character design. But I can’t get past those weird heads and eyes. -_-;

  3. I consider this lazy. If you truly want to celebrate TWENTY FIVE YEARS, do something big. Don’t recycle. Make fans drool over what you’re doing, not say, “Been there, done that.” (IMHO)

    1. Well, business is business. DQ IV, V, VI were recently released on DS. Also a DQ VIII Wii port would be useless. You find it at 15$ in the bargain bin nowadays.

      Bring us DQ X and a Wii motion plus DQSwords with more than 15hours of gameplay.
