Destructoid has learned that Sega is planning to bring out another of the Sonic and the… games sometime later this year. We’ve already had Sonic and the Secret Rings and Sonic and the Black Knight on the Wii, and hopefully we’re getting another one. Seeing as Wii owners have missed on Sonic Generations, this will no doubt come as a welcomed surprise. Apparently Sega are looking to make the games into a trilogy. Any guesses on the next games title?
So we’ve went from Arabic to Medieval…how about Greece? Oh WAIT, we don’t want a God-of-War-esque gimmick this time…

I heard that SEGA on their “SONIC CITY BLOGNIK” page made a poll asking to us which category do we wanted to be the next “Storybook series” game, the Winner was Greek Mithology with a 33%, but i don’t really care which category is the game about, and like a true Sonic the Hedgehog fan i’m looking forward to know which is :)

Greece would be ok gameplay wise if they used a god power-up system similar to colors. The story would be crap tho, lol. And of course…more characters.

Don’t know about everyone else but I enjoyed Secret Rings and Black Knight so this game should be fun as well.

Sonic and the Aftermath of the Party Weekend. Consists of taking Tails to rehab, Knuckles to therapy and Eggman to the loony bin. Ok, maybe this is not a rated “E” idea, but it’s something.
Darn it, now there isn’t gonna be Sonic Colors 2 anytime soon:( But I’m sure it will still be good. Hopefully!

This is not how you sell a new controller with Sonic. If the Wii and Shadow the Hedgehog have taught us anything, it’s that Sonic fans want the Sonic Adventure formula for 3D games with nothing else in it (Colors is the exception, of course).
They should follow the idea that guy from SEGA Mexico put forward of making Adventure 3 and retiring the Sonic & series.
Of course then I noticed they’re talking about a Wii game and not a Wii U game. I can live with that.

Wow. So much hate for the storybook series.
Black Knight’s controls weren’t my favourite, but the storyline was fantastic and it included some great self-parody from Sega and also some of Griffith’s best voice work before he left.
Anyway, most people I know would be happy with one based upon the Seven Seas. It’s a good setting and adds the possibility for some great takes on the stories of Sinbad. I want to see Sonic race on the back of a giant island turtle dammit!
Sonic and the Big Pile Of Shit… Sonic games aren’t good anymore. Hope Sonic Generations is going to be any good.
