According to the Official PlayStation Magazine TimeSplitters 4 is due to be announced soon by Crytek UK. We already know that Crytek have been considering making the game, but we have absolutely no idea what format the game will appear on. Presumably it’s coming to PlayStation 3 so there’s an increased likelihood that we will also see the game on Wii U and Xbox 360.
I never played Timesplitters. What’s it like?

Its a fun great shooting game. It reminds me of Perfect Dark or Goldeneye, though it is not ENTIRELY similiar.
You do realise that some of the team that worked on Goldeneye went to form Free Radical, the developers of the TS series, right?

I hear it’s a shooter; never played the other games. As long as they don’t turn it into another generic shooter, I might get it. I also hope that it comes to Wii U since my PS3 died last night. The games coming out this holiday do not interest me at all except for Batman, and that’s only a little bit. I will not buy another ps3 just for that. I’ll wait for Wii U. The worst part is that it died while I was watching Angel Beats, and the disc is still stuck in there. It’s an 80gb launch unit, so the warranty expired long ago. Now I’m hoping Wii U will support blu-ray.

That depends on your Internet connection. Plus, I like art boxes in anime, so I always buy the physical media for anime. I might have to get a blu-ray player. There are some cheap ones.

This is a dead franchise that nobody even cares about anymore. They would be stupid to make this because it won’t sell at all.

This franchise is definitely not dead. There are so many people that loved the past games. If anything, this game should be better than the Call of Duty series. I genuinely think that it is one of the best shooters out there. Not because it’s realistic, because it isn’t, but because it is genuinely fun to play.
I loved TS2 and Future Perfect. If you like horror and humour play Mansion of Madness from Future Pefect. Hoping the multiplayer would be as good as TS2.
What is with all of these announcements for announcements? Just announce the game or don’t say anything.
Hope it comes to PC since it’s being developed by Crytek. I love TimeSplittres, but I would much rather play it with a mouse and keyboard.
That’ll be great! If it comes out on Wii U, and Crytek is making it then, the graphics should be amazingly state-of-the-art! Those games were great and I know it’s going to be a great game too!
