Nintendo UK has released a new video featuring Robin Williams and Zelda Williams battling it out on The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords for Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo DSi. Don’t forget that if you own either console then you’re eligible to download the game absolutely free until February 2012.
The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Anniversary Edition is a remake of the original classic Game Boy Advance™ game. Fans of the franchise will be able to enjoy the classic 2D multiplayer Zelda adventure and work solo or with up to three friends to rescue Princess Zelda, after Link splits into four with the help of the Four Sword. With additional new areas to play and a single player option to enjoy this is a must for fans of the original game or newcomers alike.

I was playing wind waker the other night and my wife called from the bedroom “are you coming to bed” and it reminded me of all the times my dad and I stayed up late playing Zelda, The Adventures of Link, A Link to the Past…my dad kind of fell off the wagon around OoT, but it made me think of when my kid is old enough to play Nintendo with me (my wife is pregnant so I am super stoked!)

Really? you have to be like that now? Sure im female but I fucking know my games like any “hardcore guy”. I wont dare touch cooking Mama or these other shovelware games nintendo aims for girls all the time lol. I have both a Wii and PS3. Both being my second system. Now the old PS3 models where the ones that had the problems, hell my fat model died on me because I was playing to much rockband every day with friends and then it droped in the car out of its bag. So that was my bad. Most of the people who played theres probaly did something to kill it too unawre of it. I sold my Wii at the time in a heart beat to get a new one because I love PS3! but I ended up getting a DSi (Which I still faithfully play). Now I have a black Wii and Slim PS3 that have been really good to me. I have more games on PS3 then My Wii because there are more games I want for it. I can only think of Skyword sword of an upcoming game I want but MANY for my PS3! Now I grew up with a PSX and then PS2 not N64 so that could be why. I did have a gamecube that I played all the time (super mario sunshine ftw!) but I also had a PS2 (before my lil bro broke it) that I played a lot too. Now I play my PS3 more because of online gameplay and I cant get bored of red dead redemption single player and Modnation Racers. I beat my other games and I havent touched them since but I dont mind. Now I have neglected my Wii till I got Super Mario Galaxy back and now I cant put it down. I like it more the SMG2. I love playing Twilight Princess and to kill time till Uncharted 3 ill probally play a new playthrough.
So anyways both systems have a lot to offer (dont bring motion gaming into this, anyone can go do that shit outside irl for free!) and I love nintendo and sony both but I just play my PS3 more. By the way ive had more Nintendo things break on me then Sony stuff.
The blu Ray drive died in my fat one so I bought a slim haven’t had any problems with it yet

I am female and I’d actually call myself a real gamer. I grew up with video games, both Sony and Nintendo. And I’m playing the games which you “male real gamers” play also, don’t worry.
Plus, it’s not the system, it’s the owner. I got a fat PS3 and I’ve never had problems with it so far. I’ve been using it for years now, still playing on it almost every day, and it never broke down. Same goes for PS2 and PSX. None of them ever broke down on me, as far as I know. Not trying to say that Nintendo is bad in those things, not even a bit, I got a SNES which I’m still playing every now and then. It’s older than 15 years, but still works perfectly. Also my Wii was always working well. Instead of blaming the system, learn to treat your console right. As long as you treat your console well, everything will be alright. I’ve had several consoles and handhelds, but I can’t remember having any break-down-issues with any of them.

PS3 does have better graphics but that’s all it has is graphics. There exclusive games suck and the only good games they have are also on 360. Besides “Loop”, every sunday friends come and we have a blast with 360’s Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter 4 and Mario Kart Wii. I don’t think I can come close to be jealous Over the PS3.

Truth be told, I like God of War games and Metal Gear Solid 4 for PS3. I’m into the Wii the the most and 360 is really fun I can’t seem to find many intresting games for PS3. Plus that system is too pricey. Wii and 360 do have their fare share of problems too.

I’m already excited for Skyward next month but now FourSword having solo play is awesome to me. I have Link to the Past/Four Sword for GBA but it bummed me out Four Sword was meant for only 2-4 players. The GCN version was great but I can’t wait to play the DS remake now.
Four Swords single player is awesome, but multi-player looks sweet! I wish my friends were gamers.

Well, as long as we’re gonna talk about news unrelated to Nintendo, it seems even Apple isn’t invulnerable to minor backlashes to its asinine idea of advancing its products by increments: since the reveal of the iPhone 4S, Apple’s investors were displeased and Apple’s stocks reportedly dipped a bit, but went up a little. I say all this because it reminds me very much of how Nintendo’s investors were feeling cold towards Nintendo and its non-mobile gaming approach. Both unrelated situations, but the irony nevertheless gained from this is hilarious.
