Check Out These Fan-Made Wii U Game Boxes

DeviartArt user Uriccardo has put his Photoshop skills to good use and has created a number of game boxes for Wii U. Uriccardo has created box-arts for a number of requested titles such as Star Fox Wii U, Metroid Wii U and of course The Legend of Zelda Wii U. You can check out all his designs right here.

Thanks Uriccardo

    1. I agree. Any photoshop user can clearly see that this requires no skill at all. It’s basically copy and paste >.>.

I know it’s weekend sickr and there isn’t much news, but don’t post stupid things like this!

      1. I know it’s the weekend, but I’d appreciate if you wouldn’t post stupid replies like this to Sickr’s cool posts.

    1. It’s unoriginal and badly done. Like Nintendo would ever take a DSi, slap a slide pad on it, and call it a 3DS lite…

  1. Ehhhh. No comment on the designs, for good reason too. Hey sickr a while back I e-mail you suggesting you make a regular art contest. Could I send you some art work anyway? I pretty confident it’ll be more impressive than this, and it’ll be done by hand.

      1. I thought so, I really enjoy some of the photoygraphy sickr adds to his post too. I would be interested in who took them, like the photo header on the top of the page. So cute.

  2. The Zelda one was Epic.

Whats wrong with Pegi these days anyway… they rate games higher then many others like with monster hunter and DOAD.

    Anyway! Epic News Sickr!!!!

    1. This site will not be the same and as intresting with no other news.

This site has much news and intresting stuff with all these sorts of news.

  3. As this is related to Wii U.

I had a dream that I played the Wii U at a shop just before it launched!!! :D

it was some sort of multi crossover game i was playing. it was amazing… it felt real as it was slightly better then PS3 graphics… even my friend said that in the dream.

I bet that crossover game i played in the dream was EA created…. i remember it well.

      1. Well, you didn’t. He did. Give the dude some credit for his work. Don’t sit on your ass and say “Anybody can do that!”, just do it.

  4. they were pretty cool. put the design would’ve been better if the banner was bigger on the top. i like some of the ideas the user had. now that i think of it, L.A. Noire would work quite well on Wii U!

  5. (Sarcasm Alert!)
Yes, I literally stare at the box the whole day instead of actually using the new and awesome system… ISN’T THERE ANYTHING ON THAT ISN’T ABOUT BOXES?!

  6. Nice try fan. But its “Designs” are very generic.
Why? They look just as the same of a existing Box design of the other consoles. I mean, fuckStation 3 and xbox360.
Nintendo is at lests a little more creative in that way.

  7. Might be fan based, but they’re good. Give him the praise he deserves. Stupid to say they’re rubbish and haven’t done anything yourself or even tried any better. Maybe Nintendo will take this design on. Don’t say they won’t because you don’t know, and neither do I. However it is a possibility.

    1. This is really basic Photoshop work, anyone who has ever used Photoshop would be able to do this. All it basically is is dragging and dropping pictures together.

  8. Horrible. this is how Nintendo should NOT make the Wii U boxes. but that’s ok, Nintendo has good taste making game boxes.

Not even de Zelda box is good. nope. nones. nada.

    1. gotta agree, these look like they were kind of just slapped together. I’ll bet that the Wii U boxes will be more or less similar to the Wii boxes. They’ll probably have the same looking logo at the top, except with the U.

      1. Agreed, and I am amazed at the number of people who judge websites like this.

If they’re so professional, why the hell don’t they create their own website. Instead, I have to put up with their bullshit comments judging Sickr’s posts… *sigh*

  9. So someone took existing fan art, added some small changes to look like box art and that’s enough for the news?

    Seriously? It’s not even good.

  10. The Zelda box design looked incredibly HOT!!!!!! There are two logos that design sorely needs– Nintendo Network and Retro Studios.
