Ubisoft has revealed that the seasonal system in Assassins Creed 3 will most certainly affect how you play the game. For instance, when its been snowing heavily the roads and paths will become treacherous, which means the lead character Connor will have an advantage as he races through the trees to assassinate his next target.
Ubisoft has also detailed some of the Major events of the 18th century that will be represented in Assassins Creed 3, including the Boston Tea Party, the Boston Massacre, the Battle of Bunker Hill, the Siege of Boston, and even the Midnight Ride of Paul Revere, while New York will suffer the Great Fire of 1776.

1. 2. and 3 have different stories. all of them are different except for Revelations and Brotherhood which are connected to 2.

Persanly i dont think its à good idea to have assasins creed for Wii U.
Why? I think its a fantastic idea. I’ve never played the series before, but with the Wii u coming out, it seems like as good time to try it out.
I hate to tell you the bad news, but it’s true… it’s a truly a great idea to have an Assassin’s Creed for the Wii U. I assume that you didn’t watch the game line-up. Nintendo has the technology and the investment to create a brand new game system. A lot of third party publishers and developers (especially Ubisoft) and independent developers have given the Big N the fullest support.
With Assassin’s Creed III coming out for the U (either at launch or otherwise), it can do so many things the current-generation consoles simply cannot match.
Frankly we need to and buy it up! 3rd party support for Nintendo seems to go downhill on Nintendo systems since most Nintendo fans mostly only buy Nintendo exclusives and thats it. We need to buy the crap outta AC and Aliens CM and all other 3rd party games that come out or we miss out.
