Rayman Legends Wii U Trailer Leaks

The trailer for the previously unannounced Rayman Legends for Wii U has leaked onto Youtube. The video shows plenty of Wii U related functionality in the game including players placing figurines of characters such as a Rabbid from Rayman and Ezio from the Assassin’s Creed series onto the screen of the Wii U controller, affecting the gameplay in Rayman Legends. The visuals of the game show that the graphics are comparable to those seen on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of Rayman Origins.

    1. Awesome!? Looks AMAZING!!! CAN’T WAIT TO GET THIS. I love the Rabbids but i would love to see Assasin’s creed on there lmfao

    2. The only think that I don’t like and seems to be CONFIRMED with this video is…. Just ONE (1) tablet while playing… Did you noticed, right?

Somehow people will fight for being the tablet player. I will you know. However i thanks Ubisoft for being “suspiciously not-careful” jo jo

    1. it should be able to use more than one tablet, except it will be expensive to buy more than one so they will make the game work with one

    1. I’m glad I’m not the only one who noticed that…and the song they used before that was from How to Train your Dragon. It’s good to know that Ubisoft has good taste in music :D

  2. This gives me a great idea for some kind of Wii U game or minigame. Anyone who played Mario Party 8, remember there was that one game where 3 people were on skateboards and 1 person activated traps? Have a game like that. A 2D Platformer, for example, and the player with the Wii U controller can touch weights hanging from a ceiling to make them drop, or blow into the microphone to activate a fan that blows you backwards or something. It could be really fun.

  3. Good way to piss off friends: “You fuckers only get the Wiimotes, I’m in control with the Wii U Pad. >=)”

  4. To say that I am pleased would be a HUGE understatement. Not only am I elated that Ubi is continuing the excellent Rayman Origins games, the whole figurine on the Wii U controller should give us a little glimpse into the future of what we will be able to do with Nintendo’s next system.

    Awesome trailer!

  5. This preview game is a MUST BUY for the Wii U… especially the exclusive features including NFC technology on figurines!!!!! I gotta get Nintendo’s new console and their NFC figurines.

  6. all i got to say after seeing this vid is a Dungeon and Dragons rpg would fit wii u perfect dungeon master gets the wii u controler and the other 4 players get the wii controlers…Perfect!.

  9. Ok, I am impressed. I always give Ubisoft shit for their below poor games, but they have outdone themselves with this. All of the Wii U features they showed here are crazy! The figures are interesting. This game went from not even considered to a day one purchase now. Very good, Ubi, very good.

  10. When did the Wii U controller become a Portal of Power? I’m curious as to how that’s gonna work. Looks better than the first, which itself looked fantastic. Can’t wait to see what they’re planning for it!

  11. That’s exactly what I needed today. Really lifted my spirits. Nintendo has done it again. The Wii U will now be on the tips of everyone’s tongues. The game looks amazing and looks like a lot of fun.

Ths brings up an interesting question. If they make a Yu-Gi-Oh! game for the Wii U can I place one of my real cards on the screen to aquire the card in the game? For that to work there would have to be a way for the screen to scan the card to recognise what card it is. I really hope they do something like that.

This is a glorious day my friends. Leave luck to heaven.

    1. If Konami were to make a Yu-Gi-Oh! game for the Wii U and use using NFC technology (placing one card on the screen), it would open up a whole new door. Ubisoft was the FIRST to leak Rayman Legends Wii U trailer to the general public worldwide.

Now you’re playing with power! NFC POWER!!!!!!!

      1. If Konami hasn’t been working on this for the last year, they ain’t doing their fucking jobs over there.

  12. ok…im a huge nintendo fan…definitely plan on buying a wii….but seriously guys…this video was nothing special….lets tone down the fanboyism…it makes us all look bad
