During a recent interview with ONM, EA producer Matt Prior revealed that EA has been able to improve the visuals of FIFA 13 for Wii U. According to Prior, Wii U’s version of FIFA 13 will be “on a par” with the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game, and EA was “able to make some key graphical improvements” to it.
According to ONM, you can tackle, pass, shoot, take free kicks and penalties by using the touchscreen on the Wii U GamePad. You will also be able to make strategic decisions in real-time, thanks to the the Wii U GamePad.
It’s because the Wii U is a better console with superior hardware, even though it’s the software that really matters.

The big difference is Wii U will get more 3rd party support than Wii. Plenty consoles sold + heavy support, I don’t see how people would abandon it. Trust me, developers will be smart enough this time around and stick to which consoles will help sell. In that case, they’ll gain my support.

Ever so slightly obvious. An 8th generation console will obviously be more powerful that a 7th generation console allowing for greater quality.
In this seventh generation a little system called the Wii, kicked the combined touché of the 360 and ps4. It’s now time for the Wii’s child the Wii U to hand out a whooping not only to the up coming ps4 and xbox720, but to the ps3/360 and throw in the Vita for good measure. It’s Nintendo eat your hearts out. When it comes to gamings gaming it’s Nintendo! Now you are playing with power :).
I don’t doubt that the Wii U will stand a great chance of doing what you say and may “hand out a whooping” to all the other consoles on the market.
But that’s not what gaming’s about. While I’m highly critical of Microsoft at times and I know it, since the 6th generation and Sega’s fall from the console market, and Microsofts entrance, the industry has turned into a war. Don’t you remember the days of the PlayStation, Mega Drive/Genesis, and the Nintendo 64, back when it was all about creating their own gaming experience and not about stealing the gamers from other consoles.
I can’t wait for the Wii U, PS4/Next Xbox, but if it turns into a repeat of the 7th generation with two very similar consoles and one underpowered innovation machine, I’ll only be purchasing two again.
I remember those great days, when Nintendo made great games like now, Sony had their own great titles and innovations, Sega made games that forced Nintendo to be even more creative. PC was a utopia for point and click gems. We have the Wii U and OUYA to look forward too this eighth generation. Your words tell me Microsoft and their two exclusive having machine would do well to leave the console business. They are messing up gaming period. Combined…depends how you look at that. In sales the Wii has sold a little over 96m units, whereas the PS3 and 360 combined have sold over 133m units. And hardware sales don’t count for much when the unit isn’t being used. I have a Wii, i must use it at best 1% of the time compared to my PS3 or 360. the Wii sold more units because it was cheaper, and when people wanted a games console they went for the cheaper option – similarly why the 360 sold so many, at the time hardcore gamers went out and bought the cheaper console (i’m not nocking the 360 – clearly a more worthwile purchase than the Wii)
The xbox 360 is utter nonsense. All you needed this generation was a Wii and a PS3( can’t believe am saying this ). The Wii for grand AAA Nintendo classics and second party exclusives like the last story, XENOBLADE chronicles and pandoras tower. Third parties, monster hunter tri, red steel 2, marumasa, ray man origins etc. The PS 3 for multiplats and Sony exclusives like little sack boy.
The 360 is just the ps3 but with online fees, small harddrive, and one good exclusive (Halo). The ps3 has TONS of awesome exclusives, free online, a great optional subscription, evrn something simple like rechargeable controllers. Ive saved a ton from not having to buy batteries.
Everyone shouldve had a Wii and a ps3 this gen, and a wiiu and ps4 respectfully next gen.

You hold a good point. I only use my Xbox more because of the more active online scene (even if you must pay,) the more diverse multimedia and the family seem to love Kinect. I can’t stand Kinect, it’s fun for really casual games but you can’t do anything beyond that, you can’t have the same fun as the Wii. You could have better fun with the PS Move. If there were more than 5 decent games for it. Sony know how to curate a platform but I don’t know why they didn’t pull PS Move off as well as they did the PS3. They need to integrate it further into the main console before the end of the PS3’s life. It’s not a Vita style failure (Sony could even bring back the Vita of they like) but it certainly isn’t a feature I would integrate into a PS3 game.
The Move was good, apart from you need it in perfect lighting conditions. I cant sit and play a game in the dark like i do with Metroid on the Wii
I hope Xbox don’t use 2nd and 3rd purchases as additional sales numbers. How many Xbox caught red rings? If all those initial purchases still worked to this day, I doubt their numbers would be this high. I bet most consumers are aware of this by now and Microsoft should not pull the same move again.

Graphics have hardly changed in years (and aren’t really that good – players look like they’re made of rubber and everything’s really shiny), only very slight AI changes, and can you not do transfers in FIFA? oh well guess that’s another reason not to buy it…

Most graphical improvements are mainly improved texturing, bloom lighting, filtering, better shadow detail, anti-aliasing, and framerate. Those type of improvements, however, are very minute, and only those who make a habit of noticing these kinds of things will see the difference. Otherwise, the graphics will be mostly the same, especially since the Wii U, though more powerful, is still within the same class of power as the 360 and PS3.

Olivia the Wii U has a controller called a Wii U classic controller pro as well. It has dual clickable analog sticks, it has 4 front facing buttons ( 2 shoulder and 2 triggers ), it has gyros and accelerometers done right, unlike the pretend 6axis, it has the diamond buttons ABXY, home button and can by choice work with the touch screen controller most likely for menu shuffle. Now tell me do you really want to spend $ 60 on a 6 year old device or buy one that will maintain trade in value because it’s visuals on the Wii U shall be 1080 P, running at 60 frames per second? Nintendo baby.
Wii U has not been showing “1080p, 60fps” on any game besides scribblenaut.

Playing FIFA 13 on the Wii U sound me like a better idea. Despite Olivia’s lack of experience, FIFA 13 U can do a lot of things the PS3’s monotonous controller cannot do– use the touchscreen for not only using plays, but also use strategic plays (offense and defense) in real-time.

d-James Bond golden eye on the Wii with nunchuck support, one of the best FPS and story driven games this generation.

f-RES4 ( it’s Leon baby only way to play resident evil)
g-XENOBLADE CHRONICLES ( Long as the can make them RPG best RPG this generation together with the next one am stating)
