Nintendo Europe has reconfirmed that Wii U will launch in Europe this year. The latest press release – which accompanies the news that there’s a European Nintendo Direct on Thursday – reiterates that Wii U will launch this holiday season in Europe. Whether or not the console has been delayed until December in Europe remains to be seen.
The Wii U console launches this holiday season and introduces the Wii U GamePad, a controller with a 6.2-inch touch screen that redefines how people interact with their games, their entertainment and one another.
