It’s handy if you know exactly where your money is going, specifically if it relates to a crowdfunding campaign. So, in aid of this, Precursor Games’ CEO Paul Caporicci and COO Shawn Jackson have decided to sit down and explain – in a YouTube video – exactly where your donated money is going for the Shadow of Eternals development.
In the handy pie chart, pictured above, you can see that almost half of the costs for the pilot episode is dedicated specifically for its internal development. But since the title is episodic, the pilot will require the most money to fund for the licenses and contractors. In future videos, Paul and Shawn will detail the studio’s schedule from the current funding that the project has received through contributions. Below is a list showing the ins and outs of each chunk from the pie chart:
- Internal Development – 44.3%
Precursor Games current staff salaries and any additional hires throughout development. - Distribution Costs – 3.8%
Wii U eShop and Steam royalty fees, of which the percentage may vary from episode to episode. - Physical Goods Rewards – 3.8%
Culmination of contributor rewards, including posters and books etc. - Kickstarter/Amazon Payments – 9.2%
Payments to use their platform. - Software Licensing and Overhead – 21.4%
Licenses for Autodesk, Adobe and CryEngine products, as well as rent. - Contractors – 17.6%
Voice actors, motion-capture, and contracting for art assets.

If you have been paying for xbox360 and services double as in Netflix twice and their online service. You have issues and fit into the dunderhead category. Then the unveiled their VHS yesterday, oh what joy. I was sad USHER did perform for them. He would have taken some attention away from microsoft’s tv tool that can also play games. Pro-controller they have nothing on you, nintendo does not even need to work hard this generation. Reggie was right the Wii U will fend off the two competing consoles. Mario Kart and Mario 3D are launching this year. We are getting required 3rd parties, Ghost recon splinter cell 2 players has just over shadowed FPS nonsense with it’s gorgeous return to true gaming.

You know your game Eternal Darkness is legendary. Shadow of the eternals simply solidifies what most people don’t get, nintendo always courts games and developers that have depth, longevity and above all complete entertainment value.
Now if Ubisoft could make beyond good and evil 2 Wii U exclusive in partnership with nintendo; amaze us by showcasing Redsteel 3 my joy would know no bounds.

I really wish this game would happen but It really doesn’t look like it. I know Nintendo knows about this! Why can’t they just fund this already? Are they trying to wait until the last minute? Damnit! If I could fund this and had a good paying job then I would have funded $100 a day! Oh well I can’t even afford a Wii U right now. Maybe next Chistmas my mom could get it at Target!
