Nintendo of America has confirmed via Twitter during today’s Nintendo Direct that the long-awaited Pokemon X & Y for the Nintendo 3DS will launch worldwide on October 12th. This is the first time that a Pokemon title has been released simultaneously around the world. Nintendo also confirmed that Pokemon X & Y will contain Fairy type Pokemon.
