Wii U Developer Direct – Bayonetta 2

Atsushi Inaba, the Executive Creative Producer at the renowned development studio Platinum Games, has participated in a Wii U developer direct which is dedicated to the eagerly awaited Bayonetta 2. Inaba explains that his goal from the outset was to create the ultimate third person action game. Bayonetta 2 is exclusive to Wii U and is due for release next year.

  1. I sent in a couple of unseen screenshots showing the inventory screen on the gamepad and the e3 windwaker demo. Did you get them?

    1. It sure is. I rather play Ubisoft’s “The Division” than this. “The Crew” also looks better than this. So much for the Wii U being next gen.

    1. Those are Halos and she collected them in the first Bayonetta. I thought they were Sonic’s rings too though, when I first saw the original Bayonetta, produced by SEGA.. It DID have lots of SEGA references, so they probably made the halos look like Sonic’s rings.
